It took a while to gather all the materials for a small but practical outfit to go analog. But after two months we were ready. Unfortunately a large forest fire filled the sky with a thick layer of smoke rendering the light diffused and hiding all clouds. This did not deter us. We took a little early morning trip around the hood and put our new Chamonix 45 F-2 to work. The first results are encouraging and we shall return when the sky is clear and the light is back to normal. The photos here show the Rio Chama near Abiquiu NM. Next is the return to analog color photography.
